The third zine of CSNlab’s  “ZINEadadar” project, titled “Restless Suitcase.”  delves deep into the theme of displacement within the backdrop of wars and armed conflicts, exploring the delicate and sensitive aspects of our connection with a place and the rupture of deeply embedded memories linked to a cherished space.

Spanning a wide geographical scope, encompassing Armenia, Artsakh/Nagorno Karabakh, Ukraine, Georgia, and Belarus, this zine unveils the narratives of women, who, while residing in diverse war-torn and high-tension zones, have navigated the harrowing journey of displacement. 

The zine emerges during a tumultuous period, marked by the daily heart-wrenching scenes of civilians traversing the Lachin corridor. As individuals forsake their homes and journey through this corridor of "fear" to reach Armenia, the uncertainties loom large. Will they arrive safely? Will the prospect of returning home ever materialise? Can they adapt to this unfamiliar reality? Will the state adequately address their needs and offer pertinent assistance? These pressing questions yet remain unanswered.
